Richard Avedon, the famous American fashion and portrait photographer, had a unique influence in defining culture and style. Noted for his vast achievements, the Museum of Modern Art held a retrospective dedicated to honoring Avedon’s collection. In my typography class, we were tasked to utilize Avedon’s photos along with the integration of dynamic typographic design
to create a series of three posters advertising the collection at Moma. My hope for my poster collection is for them to convey the spirit and genius of Avedon himself.
